IAAC Annual Symposium

BT Centre Auditorium, London

Working across boundaries:
Managing information securely in an interdependent and international context.

Addressing the boundary issues:managing security in an interdependent and international context.

With thanks to BT, this year’s symposium will once again be held in the excellent BT Centre in central London.

The conference will examine the security problems of working across boundaries.

Information risks are shared along supply chains. Data moves across a plethora of jurisdictions and boundaries. These are national and international, including private sector enterprises and local and national government departments. Criminals exploit these boundaries, forming multi-national enterprises. These risks must be understood, if they are to be effectively managed.

Content and structure:

  • Opening and closing keynotes.
  • Government updates – in the year of the new Cyber Strategy.
  • Publication of the IAAC research on security, safety and trustworthiness in smart living.
  • Launch of the IAAC Access programme for early stage career individuals.
  • Expert panels will explore areas defined by cross-boundary issues:
  • Supply chain dynamics
  • Public-private dynamics
  • International perspectives
  • Poster competition
  • WLTM – ‘Would like to meet’ initiative, bringing the research and commercial sectors together.
