Sales Support


Responsible for supporting the sales team in achieving revenue and margin targets.

Responsible for providing administrative support to sales team.

Responsible for achieving objectives set by Line Manager.



To carry out a varied selection of duties within the sales department including; but not limited to:

  1. Support the sales team in managing new and existing customers.
  2. Manage team inbox and respond to customer queries.
  3. Make outbound calls to customers to confirm accuracy of data and uncover new quality contacts for the sales team to develop.
  4. Ensure that customer information is kept up to date on the CRM system.
  5. Source competitive pricing and produce accurate quotations.
  6. Confirm receipt of orders and ensure they are processed in a timely manner, with accuracy as a priority.
  7. Monitor orders on the system and ensure customers are kept informed of the ETA.
  8. Keep up to date with the range of services offered by SBL.
  9. Attend all relevant product and industry training, use this knowledge when speaking with customers.
  10. Provide support for members of the external sales team who are out on business.
  11. Log Deal Registration opportunities and report these weekly.
  12. Negotiate discounts with Vendors and Distributors to increase margin on quotations and orders. Report successes monthly.
  13. Ensure inbound calls are answered in a timely manner.
  14. Maintain an average accuracy percentage of 95% and above for the year.
